The Bottlenose Dolphin: Biology and Conservation

John E. Reynolds III, professor of marine science at Eckerd College and chair of the U.S. Marine Mammal Commission, and Randall S. Wells, behavioral ecologist with the Conservations Biology Department of the Chicago Zoological Society, with Samantha Eide, field leader for the Eckerd College Dolphin Project have written a new book that presents for the first time a comprehensive and concise overview of a species that has fascinated humans for more than 3,000 years. The Bottlenose Dolphin reviews historical myths and legends of the dolphin right up to today's hot issues of dolphin conservation and management.
